Down-opening Weir Gate

1.Use
The Down-opening Weir Gate is an up-closing and down-opening gate driven by hydraulic pressure. It is mainly used in interception wells, pipelines, box culverts or channels, etc. It has the functions of interception, flushing, regulation of upstream water level, flow control, backflow prevention, etc.

2.Principle of Operation
The gate is driven by hydraulic system and can stay in any position within the stroke range. With the liquid level indicator at its front end, the gate can regulate the water level and control the flow in front of the gate; flush the downstream pipe culvert through the rapid descent of the gate. With the liquid level indicator at its back end, the gate can prevent the downstream water from backfilling, thus achieving the function of backflow prevention.
